DOME BAKERY (is it worth?)

I was waiting for my friend while she was attending some errand when I started to crave for some cold drinks. Luckily, this store was a 3 mins walk from where I was.

As their specialty were those cute square brownies, I decided to get one for myself to try it too.

What I had:

Iced Mocha ($7.50):

It was a decent mocha. I love that it is very chocolatey. However the two complaints I had was that it was quite pricey, which is understandable because the store is located in Chinatown, and the other was that it was quite a small cup and I managed to finish it with just a few sips.

70% Dark Chocolate Brownie ($6.80):

The brownie is very rich and has a dark chocolate filling which helps to make the brownie to be more moist. The brownie is not overly sweet, which I like. It is decent but it does not have that WOW factor me. If you are looking for a treat that is not too overwhelming sweet, Dark Chocolate flavour is a good choice.

I had the brownie a day later and heated up according to the instructions on the box. Please keep an eye on your brownie in the microwave, if not it would burst like mine🥲.

I do want to give a shout out to the lady at the counter. I did not manage to catch her name but she provided me with one of the best customer service I have ever received! She was super friendly and patient with me as I was trying to think of what I should get. She’s also very knowledgable and recommended some flavours I should get as it was my first time there!

FINAL THOUGHTS: I will not specifically go there to buy the brownies as it is too pricey for me and does not really impress me. It’s a try once experience. Will get the mocha again if I am nearby and in need of a cold drink on a hot day. The reviews on Google are great though, but do try it out yourself and let me know what you think!
