👍Why I like it: Busan is known for their gukbap. So if you come to Busan, you have to eat Gukbap! Since you already made your trip to Busan, you should try the best one! Personally I loved traditional things, because it tells me that they can last so long means that it’s good. And this Gukbap restaurant that my husband recommended is superrrr good! We tried many Gukbap here and there, but this left a deep impression on me.

There was a little queue when we were there on a weekday lunch. But the queue goes really fast. I noticed that most of the diners are elderly ones. And I can see why they loved it. It’s cheap and good 😬

The pork meat is so so tender, no piggy smell and just melt in your mouth.. the soup is light but sooo flavourful.

Tips: usually at the side, they will give complimentary shrimp sauce. You will notice that gukbap is relatively bland, the point is that you can adjust the taste to your liking. So by adding bit by bit of the shrimp paste (which is very salty) you can adjust to how you like your soup to be. Pepper is also given at the side. I like my soup to be added with chives (shown in 3rd picture. given complimentary by the restaurant too.)
