I’m 27 already. Time flies.

Birthday has always been one of my favourite day in the year. For some reason (maybe it’s the age 💀) this year, I’m feeling a bit more sentimental whenever I received a birthday wish from somebody.

You know how they say, if you care for someone, tell them. If you love someone, tell them. And every year on the special day called birthday, I feel this statement 10 folds. But me being a very shy person, I don’t often go around showing or telling people I care or I love them etc etc 🥲💀 Hence, I would always like to use the birthday opportunity to wish and remind them that they are loved 🩷

Whenever I received birthday wishes, memories washed past me as I was reminded of our good old times and it really touched my heart. It also served as a gentle reminder to myself about how well loved I am. I would also like to specially thank those who took time out to celebrate with me 🥹 It was a GDLL moment 🥲🥲

To some of my friends who I haven’t talked to in a months and we don’t have the habit of constantly check in with each other either. (And I’ll be lying if I say I can remember everyone’s birthday without the help of google calendar) I’m sorry if we drifted or lost contact throughout the months/years. But still, I wanna say thank you for remembering my birthday ❤️

For now, given our hectic schedules where we can easily forget and take the love we received for granted or so, I hope to hold onto this feeling tightly and close to my heart, so that I’ll remember all the love that I have received thus far.
