Battle of the Dupes: Eyebrow Gel Edition

Today were comparing the Brow Freeze Extreme Hold Laminated-Look Sculpting Wax of Anastasia Beverly Hills and the e.l.f. Brow Lift Gel in Clear.

Anastasia Beverly Hills’s gel retails at $23.00 (Sephora) for 0.28 oz whereas the e.l.f. retails for $6.00 (Target) for 0.31 oz. Off the bat, for the e.l.f. you’re getting more product at more than half the cost of the Anastasia Beverly Hills. But is quantity better than quality?

The Anastasia Beverly Hills has more of a chemical/glue smell to it, but both seem to have about the same consistency. I like the results of my brows after using both. However, the Anastasia Beverly Hills one does have a stronger hold, having my brows up and stuck longer than the e.l.f one.

Overall, you do get what you pay for, but the Anastasia Beverly Hills seems overpriced now when the e.l.f product really is a great one for only $6.00. Certainly, giving the Anastasia one a run for its money.
