How much clothes we fit in our pax closet✨

I finallyyyy finished organizing my husband and I’s clothes into our Ikea Pax closet, so now it’s the moment of truth. This is a look into how much clothes we’ve been able to put in some of the areas as of right now, so you can have an idea in case you wanted to get a Pax closet.

First of all though, the side of the closet I’m showing you consists of three Pax frames. Each wardrobe frame is 29 ½ x 22 ⅞ x 79 ⅛’’. We designed it to have five clothes rails that are 29 ½’’ each, and seven drawers that are 29 ½ x 22 ⅞’’ each.

The far left consists of my clothes and as you can see, I was able to fit 47 tops and dresses, as well as 18 bottoms. I knew our closet wasn’t going to be super big, so I did my homework beforehand and got rid of a bunch of stuff but more clothes actually do fit in there.

My husband had a harder time letting go of things, so his clothes actually took up more space than mine🫠 lol. That middle section was meant to be a shared space for jackets, but it’s now a jersey section and we were able to put 27 in there.

In the drawer below that, we fit 22 shorts. I personally like to store the clothing rolled up because I think it looks more organized, makes it easier to see everything you have, and more fits. Then, in one of our sock drawers we fit 56 socks and more fit in there as well.

The far right is my husband’s side, and it fits 56 tops and 32 bottoms.

We honestly were able to fit a lot more than I expected, so I’m really happy with it!🙌🏽
