DIY a Christmas Tree Stand

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with a typical dark green, metal Christmas tree stand. I mean, we pretty much all have them and they definitely get the job done. ⁣

Buuuut, sometimes you just want something a unique and a little different than 𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘦 & 𝘵𝘺𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘭. ⁣

That’s when my wheels started turning to come up with a way to make one! ⁣

⁣

An idea came to me, but I wasn’t sure if it would actually work. ⁣

⁣

I described the idea to my (𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘮-𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨) mom and she totally was on board and thought it would definitely work. Woohoo!! ⁣

So, we gathered all of our supplies and got busy! ⁣

⁣

We used a large piece of pottery, pvc pipe, hack saw, construction adhesive, tape, garden drainage stones, a can of spray foam, serrated knife, craft paint and Spanish moss. (That part is optional.) ⁣

𝗜𝗧 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗘𝗗! (Insert happy dance!) ⁣

⁣

Our 𝘿𝙄𝙔 𝘾𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙢𝙖𝙨 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙 is sturdy and doing a bang up job holding our tree in place! ⁣
