Here are a few places in the United States where I felt totally safe traveling solo.

Oklahoma City 🏙️

I spent my time in Oklahoma City visiting touristy spots like Bricktown and the Myriad Botanical Gardens, and I only explored during the daytime. The city has a relaxed and friendly vibe, and I never felt worried while exploring on my own.

New York 🗽

The second time I went to New York, I was on my own for three days. I didn’t take any chances walking around alone at night, just to be safe, but during the day, I felt completely comfortable exploring the city by myself. Central Park, the museums, and even walking down Fifth Avenue felt perfectly fine.

San Francisco 🌉

San Francisco felt super safe to explore. It had a lot of tourists and was super crowded when I visited it, but I never felt I was in danger. I went to neighborhoods like Fisherman’s Wharf and the Embarcadero. And of course, to the Golden Gate Bridge!
