I went on an RV adventure in Europe with my boyfriend and our two pups. RVing with dogs is a great experience not only for you but also for your dogs, however, there are a few things you should keep in mind to ensure a safe trip.

Introduce your dogs to the RV🐕

Make sure to introduce your dogs to the RV before the trip so they are comfortable for a long journey. Bring their favorite toys, blanket, and bed. Let them sniff around and take a nap, and make them feel comfortable in the RV first. You may be on the road for a long time, so be patient and let your dogs get accustomed to the RV first.

Beware of the temperature 🌡️

Temperature can get extremely hot or cold inside the RV, depending on the season you're traveling in. On hot summer days, spend as much time as possible outside with your dogs outside. On cold winter days, keep your pet warm inside. Remember to never leave your dog alone in the RV without ventilation or when it's too hot.

It's important your dogs don't distract you while driving to ensure a safe trip. A few ways you could do this is by blocking the path to the cockpit or by getting a dog seat belt.
