Places to visit when you’re broke & on a budget 🇷🇸

I went to Belgrade recently since it was the cheapest positioning flight to Europe I could find from the US at the time. The city surprised me in all the best ways!

Where to stay: Garden 40 Bed and breakfast - $35 USD per night. Spacious private rooms and bathrooms and free breakfast plus a stunning view!

What to do: walk around the city! Be sure to see the fortress at sunset - it’s beautiful. Most attractions are free and everything is within walking distance from the recommended hotel.

What to eat - try traditional Serbian food at one of the hole in the wall shops around the old town! (~3 USD for a large plate of food)
