#travelogue: Korean style café in Hanoi

I chanced upon this gorgeous looking cafe in Hanoi after scrolling through a Hanoi Instagram page while I was in Hanoi.

It’s a short 2-3km away from the touristy Old Quarter area so it’s very accessible by Grab! The only thing is that the location itself is not very clear, so I was only able to key in 119 as the address instead of 114, and then walk down the alley to find the cafe. The shop numbers along the street don’t really seem to be in running order so do use Google Maps to track your location. It’s quite accurate!

The exterior of the cafe is beautiful, all stone and browns and whites, with lots of leafy ferns, fairy lights and wide spaces filled with natural light. I could honestly sit here all day just looking at how the light falling on the place changes throughout the day.

The cafe, as like many other shops in Hanoi, has many floors with lots of different seating. Each seat is different, but all in the same style with a lot of warm brown tones and white spaces, so you’ll be spoilt for choice even choosing a seat. 😂

☕️ Their Mellow Coffee is great! It’s a sweet iced coffee with condensed milk. I also got the Crumble Coffee which is coffee with yogurt, topped with cereal and almonds. I personally found it a bit strange because I’m not a fan of yogurt, but if you love Greek yogurt this will be a interesting try for you. It was like drinking coffee flavoured yogurt along with cereal!

🍰 I also ordered their creamy brownie and tiramisu and really enjoyed both cakes. The total bill for 4 drinks and 2 cakes came up to about VND300k which is approximately SGD18. Extremely affordable if you ask me!
