My experience as a mom in nursing school so far🩺

Starting nursing school and being a mom has been one of the hardest challenges that I have ever faced. Balancing everything has honestly been my biggest challenge. It just feels like there isn’t enough hours in the days & there just isn’t enough time for me to prioritize anything.

However, as the weeks go on I started to learn how to portion out my time and I am able to have a little bit of a life lol.

I have been really trying to prioritize time for not just my daughter but for my little family. These are the most important thing to me and they deserve my time & undivided attention as well so i make that a necessity.

I also have time to go out with my new, amazing friends that I have made in nursing school. Obviously we do not go out a lot. We all have too much going on for that but after an exam we go out and just distress which is always good.

I have also been studying so much. If i don’t I feel like I fall so far behind and on top of all of that, I have developed a study addiction. If i’m not studying or doing any work I just feel like i’m not doing anything productive with my time.

but, everything is working out for the best. I am doing so well in nursing school. I questioned if I belonged here or not and I will never question it again!!! (for now lol) 🩶
