Since the moment I found out that I was pregnant I did not want to have a baby shower. However, my mom & sister convinced me that I should definitely have a baby shower so I settled but demanded it be something small & intimate & here is why…

🌸: I’ve never loved to be the center of attention. It just makes me kinda awkward & uncomfortable. I didn’t want to feel that way during my baby shower.

🌸: I wanted people there that have always supported me & that support my baby. Not just random people because they’ll bring gifts. I wanted people there that I know i mattered to them as much as they mattered to me.

🌸: Planning a baby shower is stressful. I did not want to have to go through all the stress of trying to plan out an extravagant baby shower.
