My Experience With Motherhood 🦋

In Honor of my daughter turning 1 year old soon, I want to share my personal experience with motherhood.

All i’ve ever wanted to be was a mother. I wanted to love my child, & give them everything I was deprived of growing up. Motherhood has been anything but easy. No matter what the responsibility of taking take of my child & making sure she’s always good will always be on me. That’s been a hard pill to swallow.

News flash for all soon to be mamas, there is no such thing as 50/50 even with dad in the picture. Mothers will always hold more weight & responsibility just by nature. It’s not a bad thing just exhausting & I had to learn this.

However, being a mother is everything I could have dreamed of & more. It’s bittersweet watching my baby grow from being this helpless little human being to such an independent individual. I get to watch her live my dream & I couldn’t be more proud of myself for giving my daughter the life she deserves & working to give her more everyday.

Her laugh, her smile, her walk, her talk, her dimples. Everyday I just admire this beautiful human that i’ve made. I wish time would move just a little bit slower. I always say i’m gonna live in the moment so hopefully it’ll more a lot slower but the time just keeps passing me by. 🥹
