2 Easy and Effective ways to clean your brushes 💄

Have you been struggling with keeping your brushes clean? It’s always a hassle to keep cleaning them when you’re going to just use them and get it dirty all over again!

Here’s 2 ways I clean my brushes, and I’ll be giving you a few tips on how to maintain their cleanliness.

1st Option • Wet Method

- This method requires you to clean them with water and soap

- The typical way to clean your makeup brushes, but it’s surely effective!

- This does take longer since you’ll need to rinse, soap, scrub and rinse once again just to remove all the makeup.

How do you do it?

1.) Wet

- Wet your brushes evenly, make sure that you’re only getting the brush wet, not the base of the brush

- If you get the base of the brush wet, there’s a possibility that the glue may loosen, resulting into a broken brush.

2.) Soap

- Use a soap that’s meant for cleaning brushes

- But if you don’t have that, you can always use skin safe hand soap.

- Make sure to read the ingredients to check if it’s suitable for sensitive skin.

3.) Scrub

- Make sure to scrub your brushes gently

- You don’t want the bristles of the brush to loose its shape.

4.) Rinse

- Thoroughly rinse the brush and make sure that no soap is left over.

- Air dry the makeup brush, and you’re done!

2nd Option • The Quick Method

- This method is the easiest since you’ll only have to spray and wipe the brush!

What you’ll need

• Makeup Brush Cleaner Spray

• Tissue

How do you do it?

1.) Spray your Brush

- Spray the brush with the cleaning spray, make sure to only hit the brush and not the base

- This brush cleaner is oil based so it can easily remove makeup quickly!

2.) Wipe

- Wipe your brush onto a tissue paper

- and watch as all that makeup comes off of your brush!
