Which blush consistency is better?

Whether it be liquid, cream, powder or even a hybrid! It’s difficult settling with one consistency when there are tons of new textures and formulas invented every few months!

And so, I’ll be helping you find your perfect and desired blush consistency for the next time you go purchase a blush!

Liquid is obviously a crowd favorite, with it’s dewy glow after applying and the blendability of its liquid form. Although some liquid blushes can come off as sheer, so try swatching them at the store to see if it’s buildable.

A hybrid consistency is pretty difficult to control for beginners since sometimes it can come off as too pigmented. Deeper colors of this type of consistency can be hard to blend but they are very pigmented! Be careful while using this because it can stain your skin sometimes

Cream is my favorite, though it can be oily when worn for hours. This can be easily fixed by setting it with powder! Most cream blushes come off matte such as the one I have in the photo. I highly recommend getting cream blushes if you’re into the sunkissed blush effect

Lastly, powder! An iconic blush consistency. This can be a 50/50 some powder blushes are way too pigmented, and it even more difficult to blend since it sticks to your skin easily. And I also wouldn’t recommend this for people with textured skin like mine since it can emphasize your skin texture
