๐ง๐ฝโโ๏ธWhat is breathwork?
Doing breathing exercises using the Wim Hof method aka the Ice Man. You will intentionally change your breathing patterns, breathing through your belly, holding your breath in for a few seconds and repeat it again.

The class will be guided by Chun, a certified Wim Hof facilitator
๐ง๐ฝโโ๏ธMy experience
The whole session lasted for an hour which literally felt like 10 mins. We did a total of 3 rounds of breathwork (using the Wim Hof method) which is great for beginners because it's just covering the basics.
The facilitator, Chun, told us there's an advanced version that you can explore which you'll do for 90 mins non-stop ๐คฏ Talk about getting high on your own supply!
He used a steel tongue drum for music which I love because you really get in a flow state and he'll guide you with his voice ๐ถ
So here I was, laying down on the mat, head resting against the pillow, with the blanket keeping my body warm, eyes closed and focusing on my breathing when halfway through the exercise, I felt this overwhelming sensation, my whole body tingling and basically started tearing up. And I couldn't stop. As cheesy as it sounds, it felt like I finally had the courage to welcome my emotions, be vulnerable, fully surrender and let go ๐ฅน
Apparently it's normal to experience certain emptions (works differently for different people). When you take control of your breath, it helps redirect the flow of your emotions. It releases the pent-up energy and emotions stored within your subconscious mind.
Throughout his guidance, he brought up expressing gratitude for all the things in life that's happened, good and bad. And it was non-stop waterworks for me ๐
It's been difficult for me to be vulnerable so this was a lot. And very powerful. After it ended, I had tea with Chun and we spent literally 30 mins talking about exploring different meditations, raising our frequency, neuroscience, spirituality and just life.
Honestly it's so refreshing to know that there is a community of people that appreciate practices like this especially in Singapore.
10/10 would recommend!
