Autism & Spirituality: What are your thoughts?

This is not to dismiss the diagnosis of autism in the medical area of things, I’m not mixing religion with medical, but I do believe God created us intentionally, each with a purpose specifically for our lives.

I also have ADHD and other things that God keeps revealing to me when I ask Him, “why am I this way?” 😪 because I do find myself struggling in so many areas and it often tests my faith and even my worth and value in this world when things are simply just too hard for me to handle most days.

Some of us have a harder time being in this world due to over-sensory related reasons for starters, and I’ve always believed it’s because we were not created to live in a world with chaos and noise, but peaceful environments like nature, like it was back in the beginning when God first made all of creation.

This is a theory, I’m studying scripture and learning more about neurodivergence so please if you have any thoughts share with kindness and compassion to either educate or share your thoughts!🫶🏼
