Take a pole class with me!

I took a beginner pole class at Altitude Fitness in Flower Mound, Texas!

I took pole classes consistently for a year between 2021 and 2022 and absolutely fell in l o v e with the sport. I left in the spring of 2022 after my pole instructor left the studio I was attending. She was incredible and I loved her teaching style, I tried a few other coaches after her but none compared to her so I stopped taking pole altogether.

Recently I have really been missing pole and having an active hobby other than the gym so I’ve decided to try out some new studios in the DFW area. I’ve decided to take you all along with me as I try out and review each studio til I find a new home 🥰

I took a beginner class at Altitude Fitness in Flower Mound, Texas. Overall I would rate the class 4 out of 5 stars. The facility was very clean and the staff was friendly, however I didn’t enjoy the style of pole as much as I did at my previous studio. This style of pole dancing was more lyrical whereas my previous studio was more sensual dancing which I enjoy more. This studio also only has static poles and I prefer spinning poles as they provide a more fluid motion when practicing.

I do want to come back to this studio to try their aerial silks and Lyra hoop classes! If you’re in the DFW area and looking for a lyrical style pole studio, definitely check them out!
