Best Places to Eat in Memphis, TN - Hattie B’s

If you are visiting the Memphis, Tennessee area and love nashville hot chicken, then you have to add Hattie B’s to your places to eat list!

Hattie B’s is a popular Nashville hot chicken chain that originated in Nashville, TN. Being from Nashville, I absolutely love hot chicken and Hattie B’s is definitely one of my favorite spots to order hot chicken from. So I was thrilled to learn that Hattie B’s opened up a location in Memphis!

I had to bring my mom with me as this was her first time eating at Hattie B’s. This is what we ordered:

- Fried Chicken Sandwich Combo - The combo comes with their fried chicken sandwich crinkle cut fries, and a drink of your choice. $17 - 5 stars

- Dirty Bird Fries - These consist of their crinkle cut fries, pimento mac and cheese, dark meat tenders, and their comeback sauce - $16.50 - 4 Stars

Everything per usual was great! The chicken sandwich is always a classic - it has the perfect crispy exterior, spice, and their comeback sauce is amazing with it. It was my first time ordering the Dirty Bird Fries and these were yummy too. The pimento mac and cheese was a nice touch.

One thing to note when going to Hattie B’s is that they offer 6 different heat levels to choose from for your chicken - Southern, Mild, Medium, Hot!, Damn Hot!!, and Shut the Cluck Up!!!. I love a little spice but not too much so I always get the Medium and that’s what we made the spice level of our chicken sandwich and tenders.
