This Spicy Shrimp Wor Wonton Noodle Soup is a flavorful and hearty dish filled with tender wontons, juicy shrimp, vegetables, and noodles in a spicy broth. It's a perfect meal for when you're craving something comforting and full of bold flavors!

Ingredients:

For the wontons:

1/2 lb ground pork 🐖

2 green onions, finely chopped 🌿

1 tbsp soy sauce 🍶

1 tbsp sesame oil 🛢️

1 tsp grated ginger 🌿

20-25 wonton wrappers 🥟

1 egg, beaten (for sealing) 🥚

For the soup:

8-10 large shrimp, peeled and deveined 🍤

4 cups chicken or vegetable broth 🍲

1 tbsp soy sauce 🍶

1 tbsp chili garlic sauce (or sriracha) 🌶️

2 cloves garlic, minced 🧄

1/2 tsp grated ginger 🌿

2 cups baby bok choy or spinach 🥬

1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced 🍄

4 oz egg noodles or rice noodles 🍜

1 tsp sesame oil 🛢️

Green onions and cilantro for garnish 🌿

Lime wedges for serving 🍋

Instructions:

1️⃣ Make the wontons:

In a bowl, mix together the ground pork, chopped green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, and grated ginger. Place about 1 teaspoon of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Brush the edges with beaten egg, fold into a triangle, and pinch the edges to seal. Repeat until all wontons are filled. 🥟

2️⃣ Prepare the broth:

In a large pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and ginger, and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth, soy sauce, and chili garlic sauce. Bring the broth to a simmer. 🧄🍲

3️⃣ Cook the wontons:

Gently add the wontons into the simmering broth and cook for 4-5 minutes, or until the wontons float to the top. 🥟

4️⃣ Add the shrimp and veggies:

Add the shrimp, mushrooms, and bok choy (or spinach) to the soup. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and the vegetables are tender. 🍤🥬🍄

5️⃣ Cook the noodles:

In a separate pot, cook the egg or rice noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside. 🍜
