Spending a Day with Stingrays in the Bahamas!

Last week I had the opportunity to go celebrate my friend's 21st birthday in Bimini, Bahamas! 🌊 Honeymoon Harbour

On the second day of our trip, we took the boat out from South Bimini over to Honeymoon Harbour which is about a 20-minute boat ride. Honeymoon Harbour is known for being populated with wild stingrays and nurse sharks so it is common for people to bring over bags of bait to feed the animals.

We docked the boat close to the little island and swam over to shore with our bags of cut-up squid. If you grab the squid and place your hand near the sand, the stingrays will swim up and just take it out of your hand! There is no need to be scared of them, just shuffle your feet and remain calm. It is such a cool experience and I would recommend it to anyone who is planning on traveling to Bimini!
