friday night din & drinks 🥂

scenes from this Friday night! My mom, little sister, and I went out to spend quality time together before my sister heads back to Boston for the summer. Dinner and drinks is our love language 🥹

We went to Novita in Garden City, New York (which is out favorite local spot to go out together). Here’s the rundown of the meal…

first, drinks:

I got the white sangria (for $15), my sister got the red sangria (for $15), and my mom got the spicy strawberry marg (for $16) — these were delishhh.. some of the best drinks I’ve had in a while 🤩

then, apps:

We shared the grilled octopus (for $24) and wild arugula salad (for $16) — these are >> and perfectly light to be apps

and the main:

my sister and I both got the bronzed atlantic cod with brussel sprouts, cauliflower purée, and heirloom tomatoes (for $36); my mom got the branzino siciliano with olives, artichokes, capers, and potatoes (for $38)

such a fun vibe, with amazing food and cocktails. definitely recommend if you’re ever in the area!!
