- best quality daughter: probably my favorite asian spot in SATX

- merit coffee: fun drinks and good pastries (multiple locations in SATX and austin I think)

- grumbles seafood: great views of port a bay and super fresh fish

- water street central market: loved their breakfast and pastries in corpus

- landrys seafood: fun location right in downtown corpus and just opened one in san antonio
