1. Prioritize rest

I pause or switch up my workout routine to focus on rest. Rest is productive and healing in general, and it is mandatory when you’re sick and unwell. Allow your body to recover fully before diving back into your movement routine!

2. Drink lots of warm liquids

I love hot teas and magnesium drinks when I’m sick. Not only does this physically soothe your throat but it also is warming and hydrating, which is important when you’re sick

3. Layer up!

Wearing warm clothes and making sure you’re fully covered during the cold months are not only preventative measures to getting sick, but also makes you feel more comfortable when you are sick
