This is THE dinner recipe to make this week. If you love garlic as much as I do, this pasta dish will absolutely hit the spot. Not only is it made with minimal ingredients, but it doesn’t take long to make and is so satisfying!! Perfect for a summer night paired with some white wine 🥂 full recipe below!!
Garlic shrimp pasta recipe:
what you need:
spaghetti of your choice
fresh shrimp
parsley
garlic cloves
olive oil
ghee or butter
chili flakes
salt + pepper
(no set measurements here! I just eye-balled them based on my taste preferences)
in a pan, heat a large drizzle of olive oil for about a minute on low heat. then add a spoonful of ghee and stir to melt.
chop garlic and parsley (I use a lot cause I loveee them) and add to pan. mix until garlic is a bit translucent and set to the side.
cook your pasta according to box, then put pan with garlic + parsley back on low heat. add shrimp to pan, add salt + pepper, and cook for about 2 min on each side. (move shrimp around to ensure they’re all cooked evenly!)
once shrimp are cooked, add pasta to pan a few tongs-worth at a time. mix well, add salt and pepper, and serve with extra parsley on top!
