MOM HACK | High Chair Edition

I remember hearing this tip once online from someone who works at Solid Starts. I used Solid Starts as a resource a lot when my first born started solids. They have great advice if you are in the market for that!

After hearing that is actually safer to not strap them in, in case of a choking emergency, I have done that ever since!

It can seem a little scary, but if you have a high chair where the tray goes up close enough to them, and there is something in between their legs and they should be good.

This is another reason why I highly recommend that your baby is strong enough before starting solids and able to sit up independently, so they aren’t slouching or falling over to one side.
