places to visit to get THE bali ig pic 📸

📍the other project

- the other project is a slow made ceramics store that sells unique ceramic homeware pieces! located near the popular cafes in kuta, it's just a short walk / motor bike away

- each piece is unique and handmade so price is slightly steep ~ think of it as artisanal pricing as you're paying for the expertise and art form

- their pieces range from ~40sgd to 100sgd or above, which styles being ones straight out of a bali resort

- do take a visit to just take a look around the store even if it's out of your price range, the shop is so quaint and well-lit it serves as an amazing ig feed filler content and is so pretty irl trust

📍tegenungan waterfall / omma day club

Jalan Lod Tunduh & Jalan Raya Negara 80571 Gianyar Bali

- ok tbh this stop is kinda #NotForMe bc of how crowded the waterfall was.... jaw dropped fr when i saw the actual waterfall and not in a in awe of the beauty kind of way

- the waterfall looked slightly unclean as the water was straight up murky + there's so many people taking a swim / dipping their feet into it to take their ig bali pics

- however after photo editing the waterfall looks still q pretty and bali vibes so it's worth a shot!

- the crowd is pretty insane... if you'd like a photo without anyone in the background it's pretty much impossible

- there's also omma day club right at the waterfall so you can give it a try to take cute ig pics there but it just wasn't my thing :( the weather was extremely hot + the steps to the waterfall were actually hella steep so there was just no vibes for me after climbing all the way down

- the climb up is even steeper so rlly good luck

📍ayana resort

Jl. Karang Mas Sejahtera, Karang Mas Estate 80364 Jimbaran

- missing out on rock bar bali at ayana resort was one of my biggest regret of the trip

- ayana resort is so pretty!!!! it's an expensive luxury resort but it's actually open to public for those who want to visit the restaurants and bars within the resort like rock bar and their misc italian restaurants etc

- i only managed to visit the open spaces as i didnt get a booking for rock bar! but it was already so pretty the seats overlooking the cliffside sea view had such italy summer vibes

- rmb to make a reservation for rock bar early if you do visit! rock bar has access to ayana's private beach as well so that's another way you can enjoy a luxury beach resort~ without having to book a room there

📍tegallalang rice terrace

Tegalalang Rice Terrace, Jalan Pakudui Tegallalang, Gianyar, Indonesia

- wah this one also another not for me the steps in the rice terrace actually STEEP rlly not funny

- rmb to wear proper shoes!!! i almost re-sprained my old ankle injury trying to climb these steps and i was wearing running shoes ok

- the ig worthy pics are mainly just the rice terraces and bali swing! so tbh you dont need to pay the entrance fee into the rice terrace, just head to a cafe with the bali swing and get your shot there ; many cafes/restaurants there also oversee the rice terrace so you can get a digital nomad cafe vibes shot if you'd like

📍tanah lot temple

Tanah Lot Temple, Kecamatan Kediri, Kabupaten Tabanan, Beraban, Indonesia

- ok i know my pics look underwhelming but the temple was rlly q pretty irl!! plus it's a q popular tourist pic pit stop as they even have balinese local stationed there with canon dslr to snap a pic of you and print it out on the spot (i took a pic at their pics they're actly rlly good quality!!)

- try and go when bali is not in their rainy season! alot of places i went like tanah lot and mt batur all had cloudy views bc of the rainy season so it looked v underwhelming as compared to what it's supposed to be

- rmb to search up the sunset timings! tanah lot is famous for their sunset so their sunset peaks are always crowded right when it's about to set, rmb to search the timing and find a spot to camp for your sunset shots ~
