having the right songs during specific exercise really makes such a difference. everytime i listen to these songs, i can feel how much harder i work. sometimes they just help put me in a good mood.
aside from the hip-hop music i usually listen to, i also love k-pop, pop, and dance/edm for working out! obviously it depends on the exercises.
for running, i’ll listen to music with higher BPMs to keep me on tempo.
for walking, i’ll listen to anything that makes me feel confident, like i’m strutting my stuff.
for dancing, if i’m not at a class, i’ll listen to k-pop and dance the choreos i know of them.
for weightlifting, it’s all about hip-hop/rap for some reason! it just hits different when i’m bench pressing to Kendrick Lamar!
if i’m spinning, it’s definitely top hits or EDM!
if i’m cycling outside, however, i’ll listen to the stardew valley soundtrack LOL.
