There’s this idea that children should never be your “friend” and my wife (@Geneviève) and I completely disagree… Our children are and will always be our best friends. They will always know that we are their parents and we are here for them in every way. We are here to support them, guide them, and love them.

During my healing journey, I have not been perfect, TRUST ME lol but I will say Gwendolyn taught me things about myself that I would have never been able to learn had he not have been brought into our lives.

Parenting is as easy or as difficult as YOU make it… The biggest lesson that Gwen has taught me has been to not be so quick to blame everything on everyone/everything outside of myself. It’s still a practice to this day that when he triggers me, I reflect on why what he is doing is bothering me so much. I remind myself that he’s so innocent. He is just a baby experiencing this life for the first time. His intention is never to harm me in any way..

People will project their idea of what parenting is onto you, what it should look & feel like, but when you are healing for not only YOU but THEM… maaan.. it’s a whole different ball park.

We love being parents and enjoy providing them a life that we never had through the healing work that we do on a daily basis 🥰 I am so proud of us!!
