Turning 25

I turned 25 yesterday!! In my 25 years I’ve learned a lot of my lessons the hard way. Some of the most valuable of those lessons are.

• God and family are everything. You can always turn to them.

• Don’t change who you are to fit no one’s version of perfect.

• Everyone deserves to eat, sometimes just not at your table.

• Keep your circle small.

• Love is hard but it’s not abusive.

• You can be the best you to someone, that doesn’t make them love or appreciate you.

• You’re worthy.

• People only change when they are ready.

And honestly so many more lessons but those are some of the ones I carry with my daily and have to remind myself of.
