gastrobeats is in full swing until 23 june 2024! if you haven’t checked it out yet, this is your last chance.

located at Bayfront MRT Station (CE1/DT16), it’s open from 4pm to 11pm with free admission. pro tip: avoid the dinner rush to beat the long queues, although finding seats shouldn’t be a problem. bonus: its pet friendly! 🐾

i arrived at 6pm and found plenty of seats available and the queues were short. remember to dress lightly as it can get quite hot, even at night. if it rains, note that most seating is outdoors. do bring an umbrella! many stalls offer queue numbers, so you’re free to explore the areas while waiting for your food.

there is so much to do here! enjoy live bands while munching on delicious food. for paw-rents, don’t miss the section dedicated to your furry friends. for extra fun, they’ve got bumper cars, arcade games like claw machines, and cool pop-ups like coca cola offering various activities. 🎪

🎡 moving on to the food, which i have no pics of because i devoured everything in sight 🤤 starting off strong,

🥩 smoked beef cheeks with mash potato @ jett barbecue - $19

there was already a queue when i arrived and the highly raved jett barbeque did not disappoint! the meat was incredibly tender, though the mash potatoes were average. it is abit pricey, but definitely worth it for the quality of the meat.

🍕four cheese pizza with hot honey @ le levain - $19.80

*chefs kiss*, you’ve got to try it. the cheese and hot honey combo is heavenly, even though i get sick of cheese easily.

ps: don’t miss their gastrobeats special!

🧋white peach oolong with honey mochi @ sohtt -$7.80

the tea flavour is strong, but the honey mochi wasn’t my favourite. as someone who loves bubble tea, i found it unique, but not my favourite.

🍵green thai milk tea @ ??? - $7

thai milk teas are pretty standard, but if you were to purchase it, get the $7 instead of $4 as it is more worth the price!

even if you’re on a budget, the vibes here are surely worth experiencing. take the time to visit before it ends!
