Hi hi!! I love going to Bangkok for the food, especially kway chap. The restaurant uses only ingredients that is sourced from Hai Yai, Thailand. Even their interior - tables and chairs are all imported from Thailand. I am so WOW-ED by the effort put into re-creating the vibe that you can find in Chinatown, Bangkok.
The Signature Thai Kway Chap ($6) comes with a mix of ingredients which include pork belly, pork stomach, pork slices, and sausages. The broth is clear which what differentiates from our Singapore style kway chap which uses a soy sauce-based broth. Interestingly, the noodle you get in Thai kway chap is actually rolled up too!! Very different from the normal kway chap!
The broth is peppery 🌶🫑 Yaowarat Thai Kway Chap has also a variety of side dishe. One of my favourite side dishes has to be the Deep Fried Thai Pork Belly ($8/$10/$15) and Stir Fried Cabbage ($6). The pork belly has a slightly crackly and crispy skin which made this dish a must-order!! Coupled with dark soya sauce with chilli 🔥 POWER!!!
I really love it going there when I’m craving for a hot bowl! Cravings satisfied 😍😝
