computer engineering cGPA 3.53, how now?

hi! im a year 3 poly student and recently i just got back my veerrry mid GPA 😨 for some context, i am studying computer engineering and it is really competitive there.

i know that we would be applying to university with our 5th semester result, and my results are neither here nor there :/ i am looking towards applying for NTU computer engineering or SMU/NUS information systems or SUTD. do i still stand a chance, or are there any certifications that i can take to buff up my portfolio such as CCNA or SSCP or AWS cloud practitioner? i am not looking to take a gap year.

i really need constructive feedback or suggestions for any alternatives because it is making me worry a lot. thank you zesties in advance! 🫶🏻✨
