$7.90 Scrambled egg rice! 🍳

We all know Keisuke is one of the largest ramen chains around, but I doubt not many have heard of their rice bowls.

𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙚𝙜𝙜 𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙨𝙤𝙪𝙥 ($7.90)

- Egg was so soft and silky, I loved it 😋

- Japanese rice beneath was slightly sweet and pearly, 3 sizes available at no additional charge for 100g, 200g or 300g.

- 𝘼𝙩𝙨𝙪𝙜𝙞𝙧𝙞 𝙝𝙖𝙢 𝙘𝙪𝙩𝙡𝙚𝙩 ($3.90): Thick with a crispy panko breading, our fav and was the most unique topping!

- 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙘𝙠𝙚𝙣 𝙠𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙖𝙜𝙚 ($2.90): 2 huge pieces of fried chicken were perfectly seasoned and not dry, could be crispier on the outside 🍗

- 𝘼𝙗𝙪𝙧𝙞 𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙠𝙤 𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙚𝙨𝙚 ($3.90): Torched cheese elevated the scrambled egg making it deliciously creamy, cod roe was generous though it got a tad salty.

- 𝙋𝙤𝙧𝙠 𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙥 ($6.90): Lightly peppered and tender like Din Tai Fung style.

𝙋𝙚𝙖𝙘𝙝 𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙖 ($4)

- Interesting as I’ve never seen a flavoured cola, tasted like soda with tart and fruity nuances 🍑

𝙎𝙖𝙠𝙪𝙧𝙖 𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙖 ($4)

- Subtly floral, a bit sweeter with sour plum undertones.

Overall, I find the dish simple yet hearty and affordable with 9 different ingredients to choose from ❤️ The accompanying dashi broth was also comforting with fish cakes and seaweed, don’t forget their free-flow marinated beansprouts which are complimentary!
