Pure pistachio desserts! 🌰

Came for the last weekend of the Hong Kong-inspired menu in July with a long queue before 11am. Queued for half an hour and I received my order after 25 min.

𝙋𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙥𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙤 𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚 ($8)

- Pistachio paste was fragrant, very rich and nutty though some clumps couldn’t be completely stirred in and didn’t combine well with the fresh milk, tasting like separate components to me.

- Preferred the pistachio here to the latter due to the tinge of saltiness 🌰 [7.5/10]

𝙋𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙤 𝙚𝙜𝙜 𝙥𝙪𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙡𝙖𝙫𝙖 𝙗𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙 𝙗𝙤𝙬𝙡 ($7.80)

- Pistachio custard was flowy, rather smooth and slightly sweet.

- Topped with pistachio nut pieces and roasted pistachio butter which had a thicker stickier consistency, wouldn’t mind more of it for a more intense flavour!

- Bun was pillowy soft with a light milkiness although I found it a bit dry. [7/10]

While I haven’t been to HK, these pistachio items reminded me of Vission Bakery there. Overall, while the taste wasn’t disappointing, I wouldn’t say that they’re worth the wait but their frequently changing menu is definitely tempting and I like their creative innovations ✨
