This is my other grandfather

Since my previous post about my grandfather caught a lot of attention, I thought to share the story of how my other grandfather passed because why not.

My parents and I were on a trip to visit my then boyfriend (now husband) on exchange at Los Angeles. We flew almost 20 hours, cleared the crazy long immigration queue at LAX, walked around Hollywood Boulevard, ate Shake Shack and then got the call that my grandfather passed away.

Immediately booked a flight to go back to Singapore. It was almost 40 hours of flight with a 15 hour break in between.

After the wake, I flew back to California alone without my parents. It was a lot of flying 🫠
