Mt Rinjani Via Sembalun (Kandang Sapi Entrance)

This route is quite famous amongst the locals, hikers & others travelers who decide to visit here.

Sembalun is the most popular route & considering easy among other routes such as aik berik, timbanuh, torean & senaru.

We went here early 830am and start our journey to pos 1, pos 2, pos 3, pos 4, Bukit Penyesalan & Plawangan Campsite.

Pos 2 (1800mdpl): Normally we will eat for lunch first before head to next checkpoint.

Pos3 (1900mdpl) : Stop for take a rest & pray for muslim.

Pos4 : Stop & take a nap about 20mins.

Bukit Penyesalan : Continue hiking to campsites

Distance: 8.5 KM

Duration : 9 hours

Overall : Long distance hours

If possible to arrive to Plawangan campsite is before dark.
