My Braces Journey (Babysteps)

Hello #Lemon8, so far my braces deposit journey has been great! But....i decided to speed things up quite a bit due to overlapping plans with my bestie. Well, my original plan is to scrape around 2k in my hands before going through the braces consultation process and in short by January 2025 is the best time for me to wear braces. Tapi bestie kita suddenly bagitahu dia nak kahwin on February, so apa lagi menggelabah la kita! Takkan nak pegi majlis kahwin bestie dgn gigi rongak kan

Yada yada, i hurriedly chose a clinic, contacted them and set an appointment for braces consultation on 22/9/24 which is today. After going through a consult, i needed to extract 4 teeth of mine which is two from the upper side and 2 from the bottom side.Besides that i also need to repair my filling(tampalan lama bocor). Dentist said 4 of my front teeth should need to be tampal first. I set the date on 25/9/24 for the filling.

Sebabkan saya ni penakut orangnya jadi saya bincang dengan dentist nak cabut gigi and psang braces terus pada hari yang sama. So i mungkin akan pasang upperside first,then next month i will pasang yang bawah pulak.

Anyways i really am scared untuk extract tooth😭

Jumlah terkumpul untuk depo braces saya hanyalah

RM 1300 ( which is not enough) + RM 1000 (from my accumulated saving)

Total - RM 2300

Hope i can get through it without using my emergency fund la coz i dont think braces is an urgent matter. That's all for now hope i can be firm enough to keep this momentum going
