Once I'm done with it.

1. Sheet masks/Toner Pads

There's something very powerful about the marketing in Japan that made me part all my money on all this nonsense. Not only is it not doing wonders to my face like all celebrities claim to have done for them but it is also detrimental to the environment. Every single time I use a mask, I will throw something away. Granted, buying it in a pack of 30 reduces the amount of plastic as compared to those one pack masks but still....

2. VT Reedle Shots

I have a lot of ice pick scars on my face and micro-needling definitely helped. However, I was damn lazy to have to keep sanitising the needles to prevent infection. So when this micro-needling cream appeared on my social media feed, I bought it.

I won't say it doesn't work but more like I'm working to reduce putting chemicals on my face for health reasons. Lesser bottles of things means lesser waste generation.

3. Hair oil/Hair Mask

I don't think it makes any difference to my hair apart from making it look extremely oily and flat. I don't think there's a shine to it? The only shine there is is the oil slick.

I've since learnt that there are different hair types and mine belongs to the kind where it's very difficult to dry after getting wet. If I need the extra moisture, I'll probably go for natural oils such as coconut + essential oil.

4. Makeup setting spray

Everytime I put on makeup, it will disappear. So my colleague recommended me the Urban Decay spray but it's no longer selling where I am now. So I bought another brand. I don't know why is it called detox spray because what are you suppose to be detoxing me from when you're the chemical??

I don't know if it's the brand or if I'm using it wrongly but the makeup still disappears anyway albeit slightly slower.

I live in a hot and humid country and my detox pathway is damn good perspiring-wise and I swear nothing will stay on my face. I did read once that using a facial mist is actually good enough.

#overconsumption now but working towards #normalconsumption and #underconsumption
