DON’T GET DECEIVED BY THE LOOK

During my Japan trip, I stumbled upon an ice cream pop-up store at Kyoto Takashimaya. The display was beautiful, and the vibrant colors of the ice cream, adorned with edible flowers, caught my attention immediately. Being someone who loves pretty things, I couldn’t resist trying it out. It looked so aesthetic, perfect for pictures, so I thought, why not? But sadly, looks can be deceiving. After the first bite, I was completely put off by the taste—it was downright unpleasant. The flavors didn’t blend well, and I found it so bad that I wanted to throw the whole thing away. The only saving grace was the waffle cone, which was surprisingly good—crisp, buttery, and flavorful. In the end, I scooped out all the ice cream and only finished the cone, which was the only part worth eating. Definitely a case of style over substance!
