Matcha latte I’ve tried in Japan

Out of all the matcha drinks I’ve tried during my time in Japan, the special matcha sweet Kaminari Issa matcha latte stands out as my absolute favorite! I went for their 2-heart matcha latte, which is known for its strength, containing a generous 6g of matcha powder. It’s the perfect choice if you’re a fan of bold matcha flavors, just like me. They added a touch of sugar to balance the intensity, which I didn’t mind at all. In fact, it enhanced the experience!

I have to admit, this was the most expensive matcha latte I’ve ever had in Japan, but it was worth every yen. Despite the price, it ranks as one of the best matcha lattes I’ve ever tasted. The creamy texture and richness of the matcha were unbeatable.

Although I had an entire list of highly recommended matcha spots that I wanted to check out, time wasn’t on my side, and I couldn’t visit them all 😭. But trust me, I’m already planning my next trip back, and those spots are pinned on my map for a reason. I’ll make sure to visit them one day and see if they can top this experience!
