The five trolls by Thomas Dambo in the Pacific Northwest (PNW) of Washington State are part of the "Northwest Trolls: Way of the Bird King" exhibit. The sculptures, each made from recycled materials, are hidden in various natural settings, encouraging exploration and discovery. Here are the locations of the five trolls:

1. Bohemia - Located at the Matthews Winery in Woodinville, WA.

2. Nordri - Found in the Meadowdale Beach Park in Edmonds, WA.

3. Rundle - Situated in South Whidbey State Park on Whidbey Island, WA.

4. Haldor - Located in Lincoln Park in West Seattle, WA.

5. Una and Joures - Found at West Bay Park in Olympia, WA.

Each troll is placed in a unique environment, promoting a journey through diverse natural landscapes in Washington.

Road trip to Northwest Trolls: Way of the Bird King route:

1. Start in Blaine, WA: Begin your journey in Blaine, which is located at the Canadian border.

2. Drive to Woodinville, WA: Head south on I-5 and then take I-405 South toward Woodinville. This drive will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes (approximately 90 miles).

3. Travel to Edmonds, WA: From Woodinville, head west on WA-522 and then take I-405 North to merge onto I-5 South toward Edmonds. This segment is about 30 minutes (approximately 15 miles).

4. Head to Whidbey Island, WA: Drive north on I-5 to Mukilteo, where you'll take a ferry to Clinton on Whidbey Island. From Clinton, it's a short drive to South Whidbey State Park. The drive to Mukilteo will take about 40 minutes (approximately 25 miles), and the ferry ride takes around 20 minutes.

5. Continue to West Seattle, WA: After visiting Whidbey Island, return via the ferry back to Mukilteo and then drive south on I-5 to Seattle. From Seattle, head to West Seattle via the West Seattle Bridge. This drive will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes (including the ferry ride, approximately 60 miles).

6. Finish in Olympia, WA: From West Seattle, drive south on I-5 to Olympia. The trip takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes (approximately 60 miles).

7. Return to Blaine, WA: To return to Blaine, take I-5 North. This drive will take about 2 hours and 30 minutes (approximately 150 miles).
