we had the best vibes at our wedding food tasting🤩

exactly 2 months before our wedding, we headed to 1-atico (our wedding venue) for our food tasting!! 🥰 the food tasting was basically our belated valentine’s day dinner, since we were trying to save money and didn’t have a valentine’s celebration this year 🤭

i was a little apprehensive before this, because i’ve heard from so many friends that the wedding menu at 1-atico was mid at best 😕 but i was really pleasantly surprised by the options they offered!

we were served warm sourdough to start, and then two options for appetisers, soups, mains, and dessert. apart from the mains (where we could retain two options for our guests to select), we had to select our preferred option for the other courses!

the venue was gorgeous (which was why we picked it for our wedding in the first place), the service the entire night was IMPECCABLE, and they really put in so much effort to answer all our questions and provide us with the comfiest time possible. it was so cute too they gave us a little clipboard and form so we could provide feedback for each dish - it made me feel like gordon ramsay LOL.

c and i were pretty aligned taste-wise so we could easily pick the option we preferred! i think the only course we couldn’t agree on was dessert, though we went with my preference in the end 😛

the countdown to the big day begins, can’t wait!!

(and oops i belatedly realised - if any of my guests see this, sry for spoiling the menu for the day LOL)
