5 15 | Easy Sunday Recap

Though yesterday was Mother's Day, I spent the day with my love (Sundays are date days). My mom had no expectations to celebrate the day since she just came back from almost a week long vacation in Mexico. Also, last year, I treated her to a weekend in New York.

Anyway, about my Sunday with this guy, lol. I love spending Sundays with him. He's been working a lot lately, and so I only get to spend 1.5 days with him throughout the week. We always make the best of it.

Yesterday we slept in until about 12pm, well, I did 😆. Then we decided on Argosy in East Atlanta Village. I wanted to go there for their impossible burger then found out they had brunch options. Though it was like 3pm, they still served brunch. Loved that because I was able to try this delicious ass chicken biscuit sandwich.

Next was the movies at Atlantic Station. We had no intention on actually going to the movies, but ended up getting there like 10min before the latest installment of Guardians played – naturally, we got tickets. All I'm going to say is I'm so ready for what's next in the MCU 🤓.

Afterward, we grabbed pizza 🍕. I made us a cocktail and we caught episode 6 - 10 of Beef on Netflix. The night ended with us both slobbing heavily on my pillows...maybe just me 😆

I know this is more of a recap than an actual diary entry but I feel it's important to document these days, whether they wind up in Lemon8 or stay hidden in the depths of my phone...we'll have them for a life time. At least that's the hope.
