Deadpool & Wolverine: Marvel Trying Too Hard

TLDR Version

- too many things going on

- even Marvel fans may not fully appreciate it

- skip if you don’t follow the MCU & Fox’s X-Men franchise

1) Too much hype over the movie that expectations was raised too high.

2) Marvel trying too hard to squeeze in too many elements into the plot. It’s hard to understand what’s the focus. Sometimes less is more.

3) You need to watch and understand A LOT of previous movies and series to better appreciate this movie. These include Loki 2, Logan, Deadpool 1 and 2, a number of very early X-Men franchise in 2000s and 2010s

4) Skip this if you’re not a fan of Deadpool style of movie direction. (breaking 4th wall concepts)

I’d rate this 6.5 / 10

Hardcore Marvel fans may appreciate it much more.

For reference I rate myself as 7/10 MCU fan. Not hardcore, but I’ve watched 80% of all the MCU movies and Disney+ series. Including some youtube fan theories from time to time
