$20 Hack To Prolong Your iPhone Battery’s Health

Most electronic items these days like our mobile phones use Lithium-ion batteries. Without going into details, the one thing you need to know is that the battery’s lifespan is dependant on the number of full charge cycles made.

For example if your iPhone battery completely depletes to 0% and you charge it back to 100% it’s considered a full charge.

However if your iPhone battery drops to 80% and you charge it back to 100% it’s not considered a full charge. Charging your electronics this way would prolong the lithium-ion battery life.

The Apple Magsafe Battery Pack does exactly this by trickle charging your iPhone battery. It doesn’t wait till your battery depletes before kicking in, neither does it constantly charges your iPhone.

Good news: There’s a lot of OEM options available that’s way cheaper.

I’ve been seeing people using these and they swear by it. The original Apple Magsafe Battery Pack used to retail for about $120, but the OEM versions are about $20

OEM versions are usually the same manufacturers for Apple but they don’t have the licence to use the brand. Of course we should do our due diligence to verify the seller too.
