It's that time of the year to clear annual leave, and I had a delightful lunch with a friend at HDL Clarke Quay 🍲. I noticed they offer a 2-pax hotpot buffet (see the last picture), but what really caught my eye was the beads bracelet 📿 making workshop inside the restaurant, in addition to their usual nail polish 💅 service. Intrigued, we decided to try it out after our meal. I initially heard about this activity from another creator, @Joannehsm .

The workshop is tucked away in one of their private rooms (包厢). We were welcomed by a table filled with beads of various colours and sizes.

👉 The process is simple:

Select your beads to fill a plate, and the staff will use an elastic string to create the bracelet, adjusting the bead count to fit your wrist perfectly.

👍Why I like it:

I gravitated towards lighter colors, and to my delight, the staff mentioned that the beads I chose had just arrived yesterday, making them part of the newest batch. This was my first experience creating a custom bead bracelet, and I found it incredibly unique and enjoyable. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and the privacy of the room made the experience feel peaceful and personal. 🤩

I'm definitely looking forward to returning to HDL Clarke Quay to make more bead bracelets. 😜

Please remember to call ahead and check with the different HDL outlets regarding their activities and promotions. I visited the Novena outlet last week and found that they didn’t offer this bead bracelet making activity. It's always best to confirm beforehand to avoid any disappointment.
