Dinner at Hanjip Korean Grill House 🥩

I recently got the chance to dine at Hanjip Korean Grill House at Clarke Quay thanks to a friend’s media tasting invite, and the food was too good not to share about!! 😋

Prices start at $98 for a lunch BBQ pork set, and goes up to $398 for the dinner set (4-5 pax). They also serve ala carte meals from Mondays to Fridays, 11am to 2pm. All set menus come with free-flow barley tea and side dishes! 😊 The prices here are generally more steep as compared to other KBBQ places, but it’s a great place to celebrate special occasions as the service is great and the ambience of the restaurant is amazing!! 🤩

Here’s what we had:

- Hanjip Platter (prime ribeye, prime boneless short rib, pork belly, marinated pork collar) [8/10]

- Ginseng Chicken Soup [7/10]

- Kimchi Stew [7/10]

- Seafood Pancake [9/10]

- Korean Fried Half Chicken [8/10]

- Japchae [7/10]

- Steamed Egg [7/10]

- Complimentary Passionfruit Sorbet [9/10]

All the food was great, but my favourite was definitely the marinated pork collar as it was sooo tender and well-seasoned!! 😍 I loved the fried chicken as well!! Everything was prepared exceptionally well, and the quality of the food definitely surpasses that of more mainstream KBBQ places. Hanjip Korean Grill House is definitely worth a visit, especially if you’re looking for a quieter KBBQ place to celebrate a special occasion! 🥰
