Halloween Coffin Cakes

These mini cakes are decorated to look like little graveyards. They are so easy to make and taste heavenly. Halloween is a time for creativity, fun, and of course, delicious treats. One of the best ways to celebrate this spooky season is by baking Easy-to-Make Mini Halloween Cakes. These personal desserts are perfect for parties, trick-or-treaters, or just a fun family activity.

For these mini coffin cakes, I used Miss Jones's chocolate cake mix. You can follow the instructions on the back of the package. Although, instead of eggs I used 1/4 pumpkin purée for each egg, and it gave the cakes a spongy texture, like a molten chocolate cake. For the rest of the ingredients, I used oil and water because we ran out of milk and butter. It was surprisingly scrumptious!!! I barely use cake mixes and rather bake from scratch but there are busy moms out there who use cake mixes as a shortcut, so I decided to try it for these mini cakes! I used vegan Nutella to top the cakes and crushed Oreo cookies to simulate the dirt at the cemetery.
