Halloween Oreo Spiders

These Halloween Oreo spiders are the perfect spooky Halloween treat! A great Halloween activity to do with kids or serve for a Halloween party. They are easy to make and of course delicious.

They call for simple ingredients like pretzels or licorice, chocolate cookies, black candy melt or dark chocolate, sugar eyes and chocolate sprinkles. This is a fun activity to do with your children at home or at school if you are a teacher like me. If you have dietary restrictions feel free to replace the ingredients.

What do you need to make these cute spiders?

Oreo cookies

Pretzel sticks or black licorice sticks

Sugar eyes

Dark chocolate or black candy melt

Chocolate sprinkles

Lollipop sticks in case you want to make Oreo pops.

How to make these Oreo spiders:

Melt chocolate according to package instructions.

Separate cookies and spread a spoon of melted chocolate.

Break pretzel sticks and glue them to the cookies.

Add more chocolate and top cookies to make the Oreo sandwich.

Dip the legs of the spider in melted chocolate.

Top one side of the spider with chocolate and add chocolate sprinkles.

Glue sugar eyes using melted chocolate.
